Our Doctors

Dr. Chong was raised in the Dallas area, attending the University of Texas at Austin for his bachelor’s degree, and graduating from NOVA Southeastern University’s College of Optometry in 1999. In the intervening time, Dr. Chong has enjoyed meeting and treating patients in Garland and Dallas.

Outside of office hours, Dr. Chong keeps busy serving in his community as a Sunday school teacher, a member of the board of directors for a nonprofit charity group, and a volunteer for medical missions. So far, he has traveled to Cusco and Lima in Peru, as well as Yucatan, Mexico, where he enjoys bringing treatment to patients who rarely have medical access. Dr. Chong and his wife, Sarah, are the proud parents of three girls,Gina, Grace and Gloria, and one boy, Peter. He also loves watching Texas football. Hook’em Horns!

Acerca del Dr. Lance M. Chong

El Dr. Chong creció en Dallas y estudió en la Universidad de Texas en Austin, donde recibió su grado de bachiller. Más tarde, se graduó en la facultad de optometría de la Universidad NOVA Southeastern en el año 1999. Durante ese tiempo, el Dr. Chong ha diagnosticado y tratado pacientes de Garland y Dallas.

Fuera de la oficina, el Dr. Chong realiza servicio comunitario como profesor de escuela dominical, como miembro de la junta de directores de un grupo de caridad sin fines de lucro y como voluntario de misiones médicas. Hasta el momento, ha viajado a Cusco y Lima en Perú, además de Yucatán, México, donde trató a pacientes de pocos recursos. El Dr. Chong y su esposa Sarah son los orgullosos padres de 2 niñas: Grace y Gina, y un niño: Peter. Él también disfruta de ver el fútbol de Texas. ¡Arriba Horns!
